I do NOT use conversion shield because I either have good leather armor OR I have magic defense goodies with plate set like the epic cloak, mystic ward shield, gems obs lute, conquerors jewelry, etc. An abolisher can be effective in pvp with 1000-1500 less gear score than the guy he is fighting. basically tanks with good CC and or self healing. The real enemy of abolisher's are Paladins, other Abolishers, and CC trolls like Dream breaker. With a good build and good gear and Abolisher can easily take out all previous meta's. The three other metaclasses before abolisher became king were Daggerspell, Darkrunner, and Primeval. There is a reason people complain about abolisher being over powered.
